Room Integrity Testing The NFPA room integrity test is a procedure developed to locate the sources of leaks and predict retention time, without discharging the agent. Our technicians perform acceptance tests and periodic retests in accordance with the recommendations of the relevant parts of the latest issue of British Standard 5306 and NFPA 2001. A written report is provided on completion of each test, with certificates for successfully tested rooms issued within 10 days. We would ask clients to ensure that the protected area is available for testing at the appointed date and time. Clear access is needed, inside and outside, around the perimeter of the protected space in all voids. It will be necessary to arrange a 'return air path' around the protected space, and 240v/50Hz/13A power supply is required in all areas to be tested.
All relevant information pertaining to the extinguishant and the protected area - such as weight and type of agent, designed concentration, discharge time etc - will be required at the time of the test.
