Designed for the total flooding of enclosed spaces, electrically non-conductive Hy-GUARD offers a solution where non-chemical protection is needed, where speed of operation is not the over-riding factor, or where cylinder storage space is available at a reasonable price. As an inert gas, Hy-GUARD is a safer option than carbon dioxide where peopled areas are involved, which is why typical non-industrial applications include art storage, galleries, museum archives and libraries. Hy-GUARD offers ideal protection against Class C fires involving live elctrical equipment and Class B fires involving flammable liquids, oils and grease, as well as Class A fires containing materials such as wood , cloth and paper.
